Why is it so hard for you to make me feel beautiful?
To say I was lovely and make me feel you meant it
When things you never knew got the grace of your poetry mind
A poetry mind I had never heard
With words too beautiful
That you would never use these words on me.
I didn’t know it was so hard for you to tell me I was beautiful
I guess it’s hard for you to lie
Lie in the face of this ugly empty shell.

I hate the way you made me feel below all the angels that graced this earth
What did they have that I did not?
Was the fact that you never knew them drew you to them?
The fact that you never knew if they had the problems I had
The emotional unbalance that ruled my life
You had an angel although not so perfect
She had her scars and bold tears that fell constantly.
Her heart full and deep but pure
Darker and cold on the inside
She was still better than anything you could have asked for.

You killed my insides
Left this wonderful thing rot and decay inside her skin...
She will never feel good enough and never win
Trapped in her own shell her mind her secrets become her hell
Towards herself she will only finds hate
and enemy lines.
