Toxic Poison Tea Party

Finally yet another post…
Its been disappointing how rarely I’ve been able to sit down and draw a nice new picture, I’ve got a scrap book full of little sketches of ‘art to be done’ and this is one of them in its finalized state *phew*
I might post up the pages of sketches I do for some of these art pieces its amusing to see how artists come up with their ideas and how a stick figure surrounded in crosses and a few lines represents this image in its quick development stage
..well at least I found it amusing –sulks-

At work we had put a wedding cake together *that’s my job* with apple green ribbon with black centre… black and green is very sexy together and drawing images of ‘one colour’ are so fun to do yet easier than others…
Trying to figure out what colour to do where kinda sucks
So that’s where the idea arose *black and green ..mmm yummy*
I love my idea of the spilling tea cups and the bunnies dancing around…
They are different from my spastic bunnies… I almost saw this image in a dream and the bunnies where kind of normal/nice looking and almost plane ..like in a fairy-tail book.
I like how the bunnies and certain things are not very even looking dancing around her ..nor do they all look the same…

It’s a bit wrinkled at parts because of the ink I used to colour the background..
I would rather had used pencils throughout but what waste of the beloved black pencil …and all my texters/markers start to choke if I use them an awful lot…
But wrinkles is what you get and I guess I was too impatent to flatten it for a week before I posted it here *pokes tongue* so don’t complain!

Used some lithium picnic fetish photography for the girls appearance in facial features.
