Searching for SELFperfection

We are constantly searching for self-perfection,
It haunts us day and night
In front of the mirror, picking at everything we see
Ripping apart our stitches and trying to find the smooth perfection within
Nothing much matters on the inside… as long as it shows on the outside
Nothing much matters what our loved ones say, we still hunt our skin night and day.



after doing a commission for VA I wanted to create my own image using a similar look, this subject of self-perfection is a sensitive one to me, as it seem to be for a lot of people …. It’s incredibly hard to break away from it and find happiness in our own skin, no matter how different it is from the –erfection- that’s sold to us everywhere.
