Medusa-fallen goddessby ~glittersniffer

Just something small and fun, was the first time I really played much with watercolour.

I was inspired to create a very -tattoo style medusa-

Her eyes turn you to stone
Her blood a rich acid poison

She fell, she feel

Steel in her throat
hot blood spilled
The liquid grace of her living hair to make its last hissss

i feel like...a small insignificant being taking on a giant here, as you're one of my favorite artists on this site, but i kinda have a small critique for you. D:

i ADORE this piece.

as everyone else has been saying the colors work well together; her eyes have a real sense of longing in them. the gold fringes on the rose are absolutely beautiful. the only thing that's irking me about this piece is the background: the colors in the foreground are strong, but my eye keeps wandering towards the negative space (but if you meant this piece to be like tattoo flash, then I get where you're coming from). other than that, you continue to inspire me!

this entry of yours truly depicts your professionalism with your color combination techniques. complimentary colors such as green and red makes an impact. just like how mouth-watering red strawberries are in a glass bowl in a black, simple table...which makes it an easy subject for the eyes to get attention on to. other than that, i love all your creations which really depicts and easily distinguishes that it is your signature artwork. i can say, that wherever you post or someone else post your work on their pages, i can tell it is really yours... or inspired by your work.

Medusa was always my favorite for monsters she was beautiful yet terrifying it made me purr in ways that made me smile and i didnt know why. But iff you do another thatwould lovely i love your artwork.
