Color yes wow.
This took me so long to complete,
A matter of two days on and off… but it didn’t help the fact I started to draw it so late in the night till 2.30am just about.
Let me just begin with that I am extremely proud of my new creation, and so I should be considering I put loads of effort into it.
When I take time to detail an image like this in color the choosing what color to use here and what color to use there takes up hours of my time.

I feel images like this make able to express what I can really do with my work when I put my efforts into it. For inspiration I looked through my older artwork of when I use to draw old furry style, its crazy with weirdo creatures all over the place and ripped open chests with butterflies fleeing to escape the dark prisons of a rib cage.
Sometimes I miss my older art but as this demonstrates I can use it to combine the old with the new and it turn successful.

I was inspired to sit down and draw something that in a way reminds me of my school day artwork – my older stuff, the days when my best friends would draw with me and end up taking all my ideas. It kicks the ass of god loving girls who I never got on with that have decided to take over my style and be known for the dark drawer of my high school. If people like her believe that they can pull my art techniques off then maybe they should concentrate on this image. But never mind … there is a hidden message aimed at a particular person here so for everyone else don’t rattle your brain about it.

This image look amazing in person, most of my work can sometimes seem better once scanned and photoshoped up to the max but for this image… well I have hardly changed a thing. The original is drawn side to side, top to bottom with small black borders of an A3 piece of paper and the colors shit all over the scanners version really- especially the reds.
I would defiantly recommend a close full size peek, besides its not a HUGE image really, I’m especially found of the scattered butterflies wings which are each marked with tiny little skull patterns.

Overall I like how its almost dark and twisted in some aspects but in others quiet bright and playful….. it suits me perfectly.
