Little miss slaughter hood

This is hott off the drawing board and scanned in tonight ^_^ I am super pleased with this design and have been working on this for a few weeks now! I have always had a bit of a thing for the whole –little red riding hood story- and maybe we all have a bit of a thing for the big bad wolf? I know I do

everyone loves a rebel!
So I wanted to portray that little red hood might not have been the victim as she claimed in the old stories!

Sadly my scanner -which is normally pretty good- didn’t go this image justice! It looks much better in the real and its A3 in size.

I adjusted the colours but sometimes red turns out a bit flat when scanned

I don’t know why I chose to draw it in a more realistic way compared to my other works… sometimes I just like to

ALso she has -bob- tattooed on her arm in a heart with two axes -bob is the tree chopper

that origonally saves red riding hood from the wolfs belly by chopping it open!

I think I will create the –big bad wolf- version later! Just for fun!

one last thing,
I felt I created this piece based from my own ideas however in good artist etiquette I would like to give credit to the always inspiring callow lily

she is a great artist and although I didn’t intentionally try redraw a image similar to her own, the two images still happen to be similar enough I felt It was only nice to credit her none the less

I strongly approve of inspiration although it is important to pump yourself into your own art as to make it your own in its own way
