I drew this picture when I was pretty down on myself…
I don’t know what a lot of the things about this image mean…
I just felt like shit and drew…
There are cupcakes with words on them…
Reading; depression, self hate, gult, ugly….

The way I have drawn sunflowers *a sunny object usually represents happiness* kinda makes me feel that this image was drawn while I was feeling negative of myself yet I knew I was still something unique, beautiful and confident in who I am…
Every now and again we don’t like the person we can be but at the same time feel we can improve or know that we are better than that.

This image for me is very Mark Ryden influenced
Not to say that I haven’t put my own originality into it *wink*
I went with the huge face and smaller limbs for something different…
Huge eyes expressing pain or sorrow.
One swollen eye from beating herself up inside all the time,
And a slit throat for never seeking help.

This has a pack of detail if you care to look closer…
Done with watercolour pencils… the background was added water but the majority of the colouring was done dry.
The original to me looks much better
Original as all of my work is drawn on A3 paper.
