FINALLY 7TH DEADLY SIN ENVY IS COMPLETE

Now because this was soo long awaited, I find myself feeling quiet nervous about how you all think. The 7 deadly sin project was something I didn’t expect to become quiet so popular *as it did* and I have received notes after notes of people requesting I finish the project and asking –where is the 7th sin?-

Well here she is finally…
I hope it does not look too rushed *as it was not, but I feel it has very little detail in it as some of the other additions to the project, but let me tell you, THIS was NOT a half hearted job!* so hopefully you guys like it, for this is probably the first image I have ever drawn due to so much request for it to be completed by the public.


This sin is ENVY,
I had a hard time trying to decide what characters to use for this last deadly sin.
The project as many know was based around the tradish Alice in wonderland Disney movie. But it is really based on all the Alice in wonderland stories…
But mixing it up and making it abit my own.
I chose to use ALICE in the last sin because she was the main character and although I used her in a few of the other sins, she never really had the spot light. So I thought it would be silly not having her own part when wonderland is ALL about Alice

Here I presented Alice as a pretty wreckless teen maybe?
Split personality…
The Alice on the right is the Alice venturing down to wonderland
The other is straight Alice in what would be considered ‘real time Alice’.
Alice envies herself? Envies the Alice that is in wonderland.

I know that my version is a little trippy and hard to make sense of, but I got a lot of inspiration from the American mcgee alice, girl interrupted.
And of course… the ORIGONAL story and the person who actually wrote it

She is surrounded by flowers *remember the flowers in the movie?*
I was going to present this with wonderland Alice crying out to real time sleeping Alice outside the door, and I do know it’s not really envy more maybe… panic and trauma … so I tweaked my ideas a little.

Anyway I hope this satisfies.
If I could I probably would redo this project and do it all differently… but –shrugs-
And now, the 7 deadly sins are complete.
I had a lot of fun working thought and completing it.
